Sandybeach Centre
Sandybeach Centre is a non-profit co-operative Bayside community hub, that encourages personal development.
David and Southern Star Coaches have been donating their services to Sandybeach Centre since 2017. David has brought so much joy to the participants of our Disability Programs by taking them on outings such as Cranbourne Botanical Gardens, Arthurs Seat Eagle, Queen Victoria Market and Moonlit Sanctuary. He has also been known to ‘save the day’ when we have been stuck for transport.
Over this time Sandybeach Centre has developed a wonderful relationship with Southern Star Coaches and the participants always get excited when they know we have a bus trip coming up. David is always cheerful, helpful, patient and caring, yet the utmost professional. He genuinely cares about our people and making sure they have the best experience.

Heritage Council of Victoria
David Barbey and Southern Star Coaches have provided exemplary service to the Heritage Council of Victoria (‘the Council’) since 2013. Each year the Council members and staff conduct a regional engagement visit to a different part of Victoria, usually with 25-30 stops over three days, and each year David gets the whole lot of us to our destinations on time and with good humour. David’s service is excellent, he provides everything expected and always goes above and beyond the call of duty making sure that the trip goes well. We hope to continue our valued relationship with David, who has become something of a heritage buff!
